Nikki leads on HR and the Finance side of SALINE operations, as well as research and managing the day-to-day business.
Prior to co-founding SALINE with Tim, she worked with children for 18 years, within settings that specialised in special educational needs.
With SALINE, she has worked closely in partnership with key clients to develop crucial staff mentoring programmes, and has been a senior mentor to young professionals at an early stage of their career in the marine industry. She says:
“Supporting our younger colleagues and watching their development is so gratifying – it genuinely gives me a warm fuzzy feeling to see them as they progress through their achievements!”

Tim Smith

Tim Smith

Tim has an entire working history in Sales and Business Development across many sectors, including publishing and advertising, event management, marine, energy, construction and civil engineering. Along the way he has worked with some amazing people in industry, and is proud to say that some of them have made the decision to be part of the SALINE team.
As a natural problem solver, Tim is excited about exploring new ways to use tech to make an impact and solve complex challenges. He has conceptualised and developed a number of innovation projects, and brought them successfully to market.
Day to day, Tim is responsible for developing and supporting the team, overseeing SALINE’s business growth strategy, managing client relationships, and delivering key projects. In his own words:
“I love working with the team that we have assembled. The dynamic that has developed over time is amazing, and brings fantastic results for our clients. Client satisfaction is central to what we do, and I’m pleased to say is an almost daily occurrence. We are lucky in that we get to work on a very diverse array of clients and projects, so no two days are the same!”

Tony Camacho
Tony brings a wealth of experience to the SALINE team, having held senior roles and led projects in a range of industries and markets. In his previous role at ACG Ventures, his finance and investing background enabled him to support multiple startups and SMEs on their journey to attracting investment and scaling up. Earlier in his career, Tony spent 18 years working in the airline business for prominent companies such as Air France and KLM, where he helped to launch new challenger airlines, most notably Buzz Air, which was sold to Ryanair in 2003.
Tony has a strong reputation for practical problem solving and driving business strategy. From troubleshooting cash flow issues and devising pricing structures to creating marketing and sales strategies, his experience and insight make him well placed to provide hands-on help and guidance to large or small businesses, whatever their sector or stage of growth.

Ryan Wilson

Senior Account Manager
Ryan looks after clients in the nearshore and marine construction and offshore renewables sectors, opening doors and generating opportunities that allow them to grow in line with their targets.
Ryan’s job sees him working with clients on a diverse range of projects, as he explains: “One day I could be talking about asphalt for scour and erosion protection, and the next looking at a tender for installing dynamic bend stiffeners on an offshore wind farm. Working at SALINE, I’ve gained a wealth of knowledge in an industry I knew nothing about when I started, and even then, it’s a drop in the ocean.”

Ben joined the SALINE team in June 2023, having previously worked in a range of customer-facing roles, including five and a half years as an assistant general manager with a national kitchen retailer and installation business.
At SALINE, Ben uses his well-honed customer skills to look after clients in the marine and construction sectors, and provides support to the SALINE account managers.
Outside of work, Ben spends time baking delicious cakes, or outdoors with his young family. He’s a keen cyclist and (in his words) “an average golfer”!

In his role as an Account Executive at SALINE, Jack provides support to the Account Managers for clients in the marine, ecological, renewable energy, and sustainability sectors. Jack actively represents his clients at industry events, engaging in networking activities to build connections and outreach to prospective clients. He focuses on cultivating relationships and building a rapport with potential customers, on behalf of his clients. Additionally, Jack collaborates closely with the entire sales team, consistently identifying and sharing industry intelligence to uncover potential opportunities.

Elly Aspin
As an Account Executive for SALINE, Elly works closely with Account Managers and the sales team to support our clients from the ecological, renewable energy, and sustainability sectors. Elly uses her fantastic relationship building skills for proactive client outreach. She has a super positive attitude and an aptitude for identifying intel and generating leads.
